The origins of the Dundee Hurricanes date back to 1993 with the creation of the Dundee Storm, a 9 on 9 Youth Flag Football team. The team swiftly progressed into 9 on 9 Youth Kitted and following several successful years many of the youth players became old enough to play senior fooball. In 2002 the Dundee Hurricanes were formed and entered the British Senior American Football League Division 2 in 2003. In each of the 3 years since their formation, the Dundee Hurricanes have experienced a winning season and successfully made the play-offs.
